Description
It was a warm and humid day in the Yorkshire Dales, especially for autumn and the morning mist never fully burned off. We had had a great day exploring. We didn’t really want it to end but it was getting late in the day and it was time to head back. As we drove down the Ribble Valley towards Settle on our way home we couldn’t resist taking a detour up through Langcliffe and over towards Malham. The sinking sun began to break through the haze and the light on the hills beautifully contrasted the grey wash of the sky.
This view from the Winskill Stones to the farm at Lower Winskill then across the Ribble Valley and beyond is a little gem. I have seen it in all sorts of conditions but had never had the opportunity to capture until this day.
Available in two sizes each in a limited edition of 50.
