Heading out of Nidderdale into Wharfedale I spot a massive group of starlings blocking the road. As I approach they moved off down the valley eventually coming to rest in a nearby Ash. I captured this image as they gathered in the tree. The picture has an almost autumnal feel. The ash with it’s arching branches appears to be getting blown by the wind while the starlings resemble leaves being blown from the tree
